Society Information

The International Society for Computerized Electrocardiology is devoted to the advancement of electrocardiography through the application of computer methods. The Society has several goals and objectives, including sponsorship and organization of the conference, "Research and Technology Transfer in Computerized Electrocardiology"; promotion of research in the use of computer processing in electrocardiology; dissemination of research results through the conference and publication of its proceedings in supplemental issues of the Journal of Electrocardiology; promulgation of technology transfer by fostering collaborative links between research, industry, and medical practice; and development of innovative methods for communication and education relevant to the field of computerized electrocardiology.

The International Society of Electrocardiology is dedicated to promoting the advancement of the science of electrocardiology by facilitating the dissemination of new knowledge in electrocardiology; encouraging new research in the field; sponsoring International Congresses on Electrocardiology; assisting with satellite meetings related to electrocardiology by promoting meetings, lectures, discussions, seminars, conferences and by any other appropriate means.
